Our school’s vision –

We are very much aligned to the vision set by the School District of Philadelphia that “Together we are building, creating and supporting the next generation of leaders in Philadelphia”.

Our school’s mission is to ensure –

• that we offer alternative educational supports for all elementary and middle school students who have been retained at some point, and who are now overage in eighth grade classes across the city.
• that all students enrolled in Philadelphia Learning Academy North are given the opportunity to develop skills and build credits necessary to transition to a comprehensive high school or graduate to college, trade school, military service or enter the workforce.
• that all students leave Philadelphia Learning Academy North with a good grasp of technology skills and use of that equipment.
• to partner with families to develop a community of sharing, caring and understanding.  We will also support families as they navigate the system to meet their child’s needs.
